We are excited to remind you that the 2026–2027 Fulbright U.S. Scholar Program application is now open, offering 383 unique opportunities to teach, conduct research, or carry out professional projects abroad. The Fulbright U.S. Scholars Program is open to, and features awards for, faculty and professionals from across the United States at all career stages and at every type of higher education institution.

Thank you for your patience over the past few months. Due to limited staffing, we may not have been able to respond as quickly or thoroughly as you’ve come to expect from the Fulbright Program. We’re happy to share that we’re now back and ready to support you every step of the way in your application process. If you have any questions or need assistance, please don’t hesitate to reach out.

   Browse our award offerings to find the opportunity that aligns with your expertise and interests.
    
2. Connect with Us
   • Join an Office Hour to speak directly with a Fulbright team member.
   • Send your general inquiries to [email protected].
   • Open an application and attend a country-specific event to ask questions of in-country staff and learn more about their specific awards and priorities.
      
3. Reach Out to Regional Experts
   Connect directly with regional advisors for additional application guidance:

4. Institutional Support
   If you’re affiliated with a college or university, we encourage you to connect with your institution’s Fulbright Scholar Liaison to discuss leave policies and institutional support. Update or appoint a Fulbright Scholar Liaison on your campus by contacting [email protected].
